Content
The course will look at the broader picture including; the importance of assessing other health needs amongst people affected by dementia and their families such as pain, infection, depression and illness
This style of education places constraints on the number of participants, in that the larger the group, the harder it is to make a sustained engagement with the material. For this reason our preferred numbers of participants in a day is between 12 and 16. Where the demand for a day exceeds this, then we will arrange a repeat of the day.
The day will be led by Richard Cheston (Professor of Dementia Research) Gary Christopher (Senior Lecturer in Clinical and Neuropsychology), Myra Conway (Associate Professor in Neurochemistry) and Rob Stewart (Senior Lecturer in Neuroimaging).
