This half day study day will cover the following areas:
This half day study day will enable you to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to facilitate adult learning in social care settings in relation to the AMHP role. During this session attendees will introduced to UWE systems which are relevant to the AMHP trainee and Practice Assessor.
The half day study day will consider the HCPC criteria that AMHP trainees need to meet to pass the practice module, and the learning opportunities that are required to achieve this. We will consider the structure of the placement and role of the practice learning team.
UWE Bristol is using innovative methods to capture portfolio evidence through the use of Pebblepad technology and this will be demonstrated during this session.

UWE Bristol runs an accredited HCPC Approved Mental Health Practice Masters level programme. Undertaking this half day study day will enable you to be a practice assessor for an Approved Mental Health Professional Trainee on placement within your organisation.
