Assessment
Assessment for this module comprises a professional discussion (maximum 20 minutes) which is informed by producing five written patient case studies observed/undertaken as a review radiographer. You will critically reflect on each patient case, demonstrating your clinical decision-making skills of safely assessing and analysing the most appropriate course of action, based on evidence-based practice. This is an authentic assessment method demonstrating reflective practice using an appropriate evidence base, with the professional discussion aligning to clinical supervision in the workplace.
On completion of the written case studies, you will undertake/participate in a professional discussion with an assessor/s. The professional discussion provides the opportunity to demonstrate clinical decision making processes, which informed the management of the case studies, demonstrating how theoretical knowledge has been applied to clinical situations. The questions will incorporate the four pillars of practice (clinical practice, education, leadership and management and research) to align to enhanced practice.
