Content

The 12-month professional short course will involve each participant providing four pieces of evidence across the duration of the course to demonstrate ongoing involvement and development in the subject area.

The evidence can be submitted in any media, e.g. written, recorded oral or video submissions, or copies of presentation materials. The submissions of your choice can include such items as presentations, sharing experiences and advice with current students, further research or reading and evidence of volunteering or employment. This is not an exhaustive list and items not included can be discussed with the course leader.

The general structure of the submissions are:

  • Submission 1 - an initial career plan (+ optional careers workshop).
  • Submissions 2 and 3 - evidences of your choice.
  • Submission 4 - a final reflection on your original career plan.

Within the timeframe of the course, submissions 1 and 2 should be within the first six months, submission 3 by 9 months, and submission 4 by month 12.
