Course Director

Christine Ramsey-Wade

Entry Requirements

This short course is appropriate for anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in mindfulness meditation or mindful eating. You need to be willing to practise the in-class exercises at home between sessions, to fully benefit from the programme.

Introduction

Mindful Eating - Conscious Living is an eight-week mindfulness programme that will help you to establish a regular mindfulness practice, and help you to make better choices to manage your mood and stress levels.  The focus will be around learning how to be less anxious and more at ease around food and eating.  Through practicing paying attention to the present moment, without judgement, we can cultivate the capacity to tune into the physical experience of eating and how they relate to our moods and emotions.  In time, we can regain our natural freedom around food.
